Jupiter's Riverwalk

2GHO was the landscape architect for many sections of the Jupiter Riverwalk. The sections connect many uses this linear park along the Intracoastal Waterway and the Jupiter Ridge Natural Area including a 20 unit high-end townhouse development, 5 story luxury condominiums, restaurants, existing and new office buildings, retail shops and hotels.

The Riverwalk is a 15’ wide decorative concrete path set generally within a 25’ wide piece of land dedicated to the Town of Jupiter.  The 2.5 mile trail along the Intracoastal is nearly completed, connecting back to the beach at both ends and designed for use by active and passive recreational pedestrians and cyclists alike.  2GHO was responsible for site plan approval for adjacent projects and design of the majority of  Riverwalk.  Unique items include interpretive signage for adjacent ecosystems, Intracoastal Waterway history, boating and marine information.  Elements include shade structures, kiosks, benches and gather spots including fountains and stages.   Jupiter’s Riverwalk is a public access way along the waterway via a linear park mechanism funded and built primarily through private development.
